The Embodied Experience
It’s important to be mindful of our surroundings and happenings from day to day. Seeking and acquiring connection is an ongoing endeavor. Thus engaging in embodied experiences through modes of relaxation are a helpful tool. Meditation, journaling, guided visualization, breathwork are all examples of embodied experiences. We have them every day, even engaging in collaborative dialogue through meaning making and conversation serve as embodied experiences. Are you an artist? Artistic endeavors that express and heighten consciousness connect is inwardly and outwardly; even running around the yard playing with kiddos allows the adult to connect to the child within and embark upon an exploration of the stream of conscience through the engagement of play, our first language.
